Time-constrained and mud-fatigued DC Velo riders Brian Marchionini, Joe Baremore and David Kay opted for a sunny trail ride on the MoCo Epic North Loop in lieu of slogging it out in the mud and rain south of Richmond. We passed a number of riders - all going the opposite direction. Scientific testing of the bikes was done, and full suspension bikes go downhill faster than up. Who knew? No flats or broken glasses to report, and Brian was first back to his car.
