On a raw 40-degree day, when the rain was kind enough to stay away until right before the start of the 40-50-60 race (phew, we were worried that we were going to have a non-raining race this season), Marchio attacked from the gun and rolled away from the 40+ field mid-race for a convincing "W" and an impressive closeout of the 2018 CX campaign.
David "pray for rain" Kay, the Maven of Mud, also acquitted himself in exemplary fashion by rolling to a strong 2nd podium spot in the 50's.
Jim Wagner was 9th in the 60's and sad little mud-hating Baremore (no pictures please) was a sad, lonely, sad, tearful, muddy, sad, dispirited, never-racing-cross-again 7th in the 50's.
DCVelo Pal, Chris "Shenandoah" Scott got the top spot in the 50's.
